Whitley County 4-H Clubs, Inc. will be hosting the second annual Autumn Harvest Festival at the Whitley County 4-H Fairgrounds this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.



The Autumn Harvest Festival events will consist of a craft show and flea market, a car show, a corn hole tournament and many other activities throughout the day. For questions about this event, contact via e-mail at whitleycounty4h@gmail.com or call Jeff Geiger at 229-0635.



The 4-H Pledge States how 4-H goes about helping youth develop and grow in positive ways. As the pledge is recited, hand motions add extra emphasis to the head, heart, hands and health.



THE "H'S" STAND FOR:Head, Heart, Hands, and Health. This is the 4-H pledge:"I Pledge My Head to clearer thinking, My Heart to greater loyalty, My Hands to larger service, My Health to better living, For my club, my community, my country, and my world."



Our mission is to assist youth and adults in their development by conducting hands-on educational programs, using the knowledge base of Purdue University, other land grant universities and the United States Department of Agriculture.
